Fenix Rising : Gears of War 3 New Map Pack, Achievements and Skin Packs Available now

If you are already done with existing maps on Gears of War 3 then Fenix Rising has got five new multiplayer map packs which takes you to complete different level as you will need to use altogether different tactics.

This Add on is available on Xbox Live at a price of 800 Microsoft Points or completely free if you are a season pass holder. So If you own Gears of War 3 Season Pass make sure not to purchase this from the Market Place. SEASON PASS owners should only access this update from the in-game store to avoid a duplicate charge.

The maps are named as Anvil, Death, Escalation, Academy, and Slab and it includes four new character skins Recruit Clayton, Savage Marauder, and new variants of Thrashball Cole and Savage Kantus along with 250 Gamerscore and 7 new achievements.

Below is the list of achievements :

Now They Begin to Understand – Complete 12 waves of Beast on all Fenix Rising Maps. (20 points)
Defending the Past – Complete all 50 waves of Horde on any of the Fenix Rising Maps. (25 points)
Come to Poppa – Win a Versus multiplayer match as a team of five Recruit Claytons (any mode). (15 points)

Locust, Forever – Win a Versus multiplayer match as a team of five Savage Marauders (any mode). (15 points)
Time to Re-up – Achieve level 100 and choose to re-up for another tour of duty. (50 points)
Again! – Achieve level 100 a second time and choose to re-up for another tour of duty. (50 points)

I’ve Done it All! – Earn at least one of each of the original 132 combat ribbons. (75 points)

The major attraction in this is the “RE-UP” feature which allows you to reset your experience ( if you have purchased the DLC ) and rank your level at 100 and then work your way back to maximum of three times and get rewards if you hit 100 mark with red, green and gold colored wings.
