Ghost Chain : An Addictive Match making Game with a Twist
Though it had been a perfect game for Halloween, Ghost Chain is still an addictive game to kill few minutes or an entire day. Based on Ghosts and how they go from one stage to another changing their form. In this puzzle game, you match similar ghosts and make the biggest possible chain reactions to make them disappear from the board or change them into different forms while you keep going on and on.
What is different about this game:
There are many similar games in Windows Phone marketplace but this game stands out for some of its features:
- Negative points if you match just 2 similar ghosts. You have to do this many-a-times to clear up ghosts but adds a nice twist to get down the scores.
- Ghosts transforms into even more scoring ghosts. To do this there is a minimum number of ghosts are required which adds the twist that you don’t have to choose all of them. It’s not Tetris.
- Not just straight line. This means you can go cross way, around the corner to select more and more but remember that’s not the deal.
- The ghosts which transform appear at the position of last selected ghosts in the row. This can be change by moving your finger to else where after selection is complete
Apart from these features you have different modes like other regular games:
- Time based
- Easy and Normal Mode.
- Levels: In this you need to complete an objective as fast as you can. There is no timer count down but the score depends on how soon you completed it.

Overall it’s a fun game and if you have played similar games then this is a must try. The only thing missing is adding a bit of excitement by introducing achievements for gamers. It would fun to unlock some ghostly achievement as you play it every day.
