Official HDFC Life Insurance Premium Calculator for Windows Phone
HDFC was one of the first Indian Bank to launch their app on Windows Phone and now they have launched their Official HDFC Live Insurance Calculator which is more than what it says.
The app has two major section. One they call as HLV or Human Life Calculator is a utility to calculate all your financial investments, assets, liabilities etc.
The other is Click to Protect Feature which calculates your insurance premium and find details about benefits, insurance coverage, life cover & period of coverage, to derive the premium pay-out for your age profile! The app also lets you connect with one of the HDFC Bank’s representative if you want to speak to them.
What I really liked about the app is that it’s designed well and even if you are new, you can use it.Every new screen comes with mini tutorial telling you what is where. When trying to figure out your Insurance policy details, you can use the easy to use slider to increase or decrease the amount and then follow-up other details.
But here comes a catch, instead of instantly telling you the exact details, it asks you to fill in your details like name, mobile address, email id and then tells you the premium amount. You also have direct option to buy the policy online.
