Here Transit Adds LiveSight and Better Routing Options; Know where to Stand for a Bus now

Here Transit, the app which lets you plan your transit by using your location, destination, way of commute and traffic has LiveSight on its side now. This means you can visually see where the bus stop is and take left or right depending on that. I really wish Nokia make Glasses with Live Sight someday.

LiveSight Integration in Here Transit

That said, Here Transit have few more updates :

  • Find list of buses that stop at a particular bus stop.
  • Instead of merging all the routing options or commute mode, now it is possible to choose one type of commute and find a route. So if you completely want to travel by bus, it works now.
  • Routing options now include Subway, Bus, Tram, Local Train, High Speed, Regional, Mono Rails, Ferry and even Gondola. You will be able to select and deselect one by one. By default all the routes are selected.
  • Set your walking speed from slow to fast if you walk that quick else set it to moderate when you get tired.
  • You can swipe left to bring in the Nearby Feature which will list down all the bus stops or commute around you. You can log press to plan your commute from there.

That said, Here Transit still needs internet connection to work flawlessly. I really wish there was an offline mode to find static things like bus stops among others which never change. Also, not all the features will work in every city so make sure to check on this link.
