HMD to bring back Iconic Lumia Camera Interface to Nokia Phones
If you have ever used a Lumia phone, the manual mode in the camera was pretty sleek. It was much better compared to manual interface offered by the best camera phone because of its SemiCircular UI interface. Looks like this is coming to future Nokia phones.
HMD, the house of the new Nokia Phones, has acquired license for this design patent which first appeared on Windows Phone, and it will be surely available on their Android Phones. I have tried all the Nokia phone, and design of the camera interface is pretty awful. This will change it. I am expecting that with next software update, we will see it coming to even existing Nokia 3, 5 and 6.
Its pretty obvious that Nokia needs to bring in lot more than this to the Camera. The current interface of Nokia Android Phones don’t have proper modes, and the camera is still not at par. Along with this the company will also need to add better hardware, just like Honor 8 Pro and LG G6
Nokia recently also made deal with ZEISS, and it won’t be too long before they get Dual Camera (expected with Nokia 8), and Lossless quality like the Lumia 1020. This will take time as the company is still testing the water, but with right Camera Lens, Hardware, and the Software, it can put up stronghold in the market.
