Homebrew App brings World Clock as Live Tiles on Windows Phone
If you had been craving for multiple clocks on your windows phone because you have too many events to catch up with all in different time zone and till now you had been surviving by using online clocks, or desktop clocks or changing your Windows Phone time clock, TileWorldClock app is what you had been looking for.
How the App Works
This app lets you create multiple time zone as Live Tile or Live Clock on your start menu with a custom name so you can remember why you pinned it there. Once installed you can start creating time zone by hitting the plus button and define the following things :
- Clock Style : Analog and Digital
- Wide Tile support which is of same size as Calendar Tile
- Time Zone
- Clock Name
- And Clock Background which I will suggest you to enable it so it gets updated every minute.
Once done you can pin the clock to start menu and you will have it listed in the app also to change or update later. The tiles take the phone’s accent colour automatically.
Now in case you see that clock is not updated, you need to check two things, first that you are not in a battery saver mode as it disables everything include live tile update and second you need to check if the Clock Tile Background is turned on or not. For this the dev can give option to user to update after certain interval which can be from one minute to ten minutes to 30 Minutes to update the tile.
