How much Nokia Lumia 920 and Other Windows Phone 8 might cost in India
After Nokia, HTC and Samsung Announced their Windows Phone 8, we are now trying to figure out the pricing of Lumia 920, 820, Htc 8X and 8S and the Samsung ATIV S in India depending on whatever is being announced in the rest of the world by the carriers or any online shops accepting pre-order.t

Nokia Lumia 920/ 820 Pricing :
You might not just be happy with the pricing that Lumia 920 will have. It’s costly, and many might opt out if they are on a tight budget and choose HTC 8X or 8S.
According to Nokia Italy, Lumia 920 will be costing 599 Euros and Lumia 820 to cost 429 Euros while Nokia Russia said it will cost 24990 and 19,990 in Russian Currency.
Converting then to Indian Pricing :
Lumia 920 costs 599 Euros it will be 41K while If you take Russian Currency it costs 43K approx. This means you can assume that it will cost you around 40K in India.
Lumia 820 from Europe will cost you 29K while from Russia, will cost you 34K, which means you can assume it to be priced at 31K which is same as Lumia 900 Pricing in India.
HTC 8X / 8S Pricing Global Pricing
Amazon has listed HTC Windows Phone 8 at Amazon Germany. HTC 8X is being priced at 605 Euros while 8S is being booked at almost half of 8X price at 331 Euros.
Also if, you take a look at Expansys pricing, which is UK based, HTC 8X costs 399 Pounds while 8S costs 239 Pounds.
What can be the Indian pricing :
Now if, you do the currency conversion, HTC 8X from Germany will cost you 42k while 8S will cost you 23K. However you can grab a HTC phone from UK, the 8X will cost you 35K, and 8S will cost you only 21K, which is much cheaper than European counterpart.
Samsung ATIV S Global pricing :
This is the only Windows Phone for which we have just one piece of information. Samsung seems to not opening up that fast. According to Belgian site, Vanden Borre, offers the device for 549.99 Euros which is pretty aggressive pricing.
What can be the Indian Pricing :
Hard to predict right now but if you convert the above pricing, it comes around 39K approximately.
Conclusion :
Looking at the scenarios and bits of information that’s popping up, it seems Windows Phone 8 will cost around 35K on an average except the HTC 8X phone which should be around 25K. So overall its going to a costly business for consumers, and so it will be only features that will make a difference. So which phone are you planning to buy ?
