How to Add FIFA 2014 Schedule to Windows Phone Calendar
FIFA 2014 is on its full fever and if you are having a hard time keeping up with the schedule, here is simple trick to add the World Cup schedule in you Windows Phone calendar.
- Open http://calendar.live.com or go to http://www.outlook.com/ tap on the down arrow in top ribbon and then select Calendar
- Navigate to Import (in top ribbon).
- Navigate to Subscription (left pane)
- Enter this webcal URL: webcal://www1.skysports.com/calendars/football/fixtures/competitions/worldcup
- Give it a name (like FIFA), select color, choose charm (trophy; its a world cup!) and click Subscribe.
In your Windows Phone, sync mail settings.
Now open the calendar app and you will find the schedule!

That said, it is possible to subscribe any online calendar like this and with the inbuilt notifications, you should see it in your Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 as well. This is also possible for users running Windows Phone 7.8.
Also its the best way to track your matches as you would never miss it or get delayed compared to using it over an app which may go few minutes off the track.
