If you want to try Windows 11/10 on a separate PC or cannot wait to upgrade your existing PC, Microsoft has provided a way to directly download Windows 11/10 ISO (64bit and 32bit) as an ISO file. This download works like any other files downloaded over the internet, so we suggest you better have a download manager in place which resumes back.
I have used it on Mac, and I am not sure if it works otherwise on Windows PC because you will most likely be offered ISO based on your operating system. Using this method, you can download Windows 11/10, Windows 11/10 N, Windows 11/10 KN, and Windows 11/10 Single Language. The links generated to download are valid for 24 hours. While the download will continue after that, but links will expire.
How to Directly Download Windows 11/10 ISO File
To do the same in Windows, use an agent switcher. Use a macOS or Chrome OS profile, so Microsoft offers you to download the ISO instead.
Note: Microsoft now offers to download ISO without using any switcher for Windows 11. However, for Windows 10, you will need to use a browser agent switcher.
- Fo,r Windows 10 go to the Official Windows 11/10 ISO Download Site. If you want to Download Windows 11, follow this link.
- Scroll to the section that says—Download Windows 10 Disk Image (ISO) or Download Windows 11 Disk Image (ISO)
- Select the version of Windows you want to download and click confirm.
- Next, select the language of the Windows you want to download. You’ll need to choose the same language when you install Windows. To see your current language, go to Time and language in PC settings or Region in Control Panel.
- After this, you will get two links directly downloading Windows 11/10 ISO files to your computer. One link is for 64-bit, and the other is for 32-bit.
Now select one or both links and download them on your PC. Using this tool, you can create a Bootable Windows 11/10 USB Drive to install on another PC or just hand it over to your friends. It is also possible to open Windows ISO in File Explorer and launch the setup file to install Windows.

I wish Microsoft gives the direct option to download links instead of offering to use the Media tool, etc.
