HP Launches Spectre in India; On Sale from this Saturday and Priced at ₹1,19,900

Spectre from HP is said to be the thinnest laptop in the world, as it is just 10.4mm thin. Today HP announced the laptop in India and it will be going on sale starting this Saturday. Talking about the laptop, in spite of being so thin, it doesn’t compromise with the power or the performance. The company made sure that it gives you the comfort of carrying the device without compromising with the power and the performance.

The HP Spectre has a 13.1-inch Full HD display coated by Gorilla Glass 4, and packs either an i5 or i7 sixth-generation Skylake Intel processor, depending on the model you select. It has 8GB of RAM and up to 512GB of SSD internal storage.

It is well enriched with connectivity options, as the laptop has three USB-C connectors. The inner two USB-C ports also double as Thunderbolt connectors, and the only other port is a headphone jack on the opposite side. The speakers are powered by Bang & Olufsen, and HP claims that you’ll get 9.5 hours of battery life from the 4-cell 38Whr Li-ion battery. And all this heavy specifications in a single device that is not heavy at all, as  it weighs only 1.1 Kilograms.

Being a premium device, HP Spectre in India is priced starting at $1,775, which is roughly ₹1,19,900. It is worth noting that the same laptop in the US is priced at $1,169 which is approx. $600 less than that in India. We are not sure if it is because of tax or whatsoever, but this $600 price gap makes it really costly. However, we hope that in the coming months it will get a price cut, making it worth the money.

Alongside, HP also launched its EliteBook Folio 1040 G3 and HP EliteBook 800 G3 series notebooks, priced at ₹90,000 and ₹69,000 respectively.
