HP Pavilion X-360 Touchscreen Laptop- First Impressions
At the HP AJP Summit in Mumbai, HP launched few colorful laptops and one of them was the new HP Pavilion S-360 Hybrid laptop. Unlike normal laptop, this one is a convertible like the Lenovo Yoga series and it can be turned into a tablet as it comes with touchscreen. As the name indicates, you can fold the laptop 360 degrees to make it a tablet from the traditional laptop.
The device comes with Windows 8.1 and has pretty decent specs for its price range. The best feature is the 360 degrees flexibility which is achieved using the twin hinges mechanism. You can simply fold the display back to make it into tablet and at this point the keyboard is disabled to make it work like a tablet.

On the build quality aspect, the device is really good with excellent fit and finish. The device has a complete red matte finish unlike other laptops which offers colored panels only on the back of the lid. When you open the device, you get to see the aluminium finish around the keyboard and track pad which is again done well.

The display on the device is a 11.6 inch glossy panel which has pretty decent quality but the viewing angles aren’t that great. There is a Windows logo which also acts as the home button when using as the tablet. The display has pretty bezels around it making the device look bigger.

The device comes with usual set of ports (3 USB port, SD card, Ethernet, 3.5mm audio jack and also HDMI). There is also a volume control key located near the audio jack, which is needed when you use as a tablet. It also comes with beatsaudio.
