Huawei launches Ascend W1, A Low End Windows Phone 8

So finally Huawei has made it mark and rolled in a low end Windows Phone 8, Ascend W1,  which has a 4 inch WVGA display(OUCH), Dual core 1.2 GHz CPU, 512MB of RAM and a 5MP rear camera  and 0.3 MP front facing cam. When I came to know the last part of the spec I was like  “You got to be kidding me!!” because even a low end phones better camera are coming up these days. And here is another bummer, the phone has just 4GB of storage which equals Lumia 510 so expect only 2.5GB of space to be available by max.

Now since this is a low end phone this still might get successful in Outside US market where there is a huge demand of low end phones (Sales of Lumia 510 in India is a big example) if the price is set to right but this seems to be set to launch in US along with Verizon as we see data sense enabled in the photo.

In my opinion this is kind of phones which can actually penetrate deep into the market where Android is ruling.  There are lot many users who seek to have budget phone which is lot better than low end android phone which not only fail to deliver longer battery life but have performance issue as well.

Even though compared to Lumia 620 this phone might not stand a chance but  I am sure that is going to be very less priced  and because it has massive battery power packed to 1950 mAH which is 50% more than 620 and I am sure this will stay up for 2 days on an average use.
