Huawei’s MateBook X Pro offers 91% screen-to-body display with Hidden camera

At MWC 2018, Huawei has launched an upgraded version of its MateBook X. Named as MateBook X Pro, the upgrade majorly focuses on performance improved, and that almost zero-bezels. It’s so thin, that Huawei had to put in the webcam in the keyboard layout. Make sure to keep your nose hairs trimmed!!

It houses a 13.9-inch display with 91% screen-to-body ratio and looks stunning.It has 3K LTPS display comes with a remarkable 3000 x 2000 resolution, 260 PPI, 100% sRGB color gamut, 450 nits maximum brightness and 1500:1 contrast ratio.

What is more stunning is webcam placement which can be popped out by tapping on it. I guess it’s going to be the first non-intrusive privacy-focused camera ever! But then be ready for those odd-looking angles when doing a video call.

When it comes to specification, you get an 8 generation Intel Core i5/i7 quad-core processors with NVIDIA GeForce MX150 GPU with 2GB of GDDR5. Compared to Macbook pro, this is where it misses as it’s not fanless.  The device houses a 57.4Wh battery which promises to offer 14 hours of battery life. HUAWEI MateBook X Pro has one-touch power button with optimized  BIOS powers up and logs in your computer in 7.8 seconds.



Depending on which model you select, it will cost you from anywhere between  €1499 to €1899.
