Skypath : Official Imageshack App for Windows Phone
When it comes to backing up images from Windows Phone, Skydrive rules among the users for images mostly because of the automatic backup solution integrated in the cloud backup system. Though Windows Phone cloud backup system has an open API which can be used by the apps but not all the apps make use of it. As an example, CloudyBox for Drobox has this feature announced since some time. but still hasn’t released it even after months since the promise.
Imageshack has officially launched their Windows Phone App, Skypath, which makes sure you can use this to backup all your existing pictures or the new ones automatically to your Imageshack Account. You can see the app listed when you go to Settings > Photos > Backup.

That said, the app is well done for overall usage. It can display pictures from your account, help you share them instantly, upload images on will, make sure you don’t waste a lot of bandwidth on mobile data, multiple select to share or delete.
So does Skydrive stops uploading images?
No, not till you turn it off from the backup option. Skypath automatically upload the images when you launch it as it does not have a background agent running. So the backup will only happen when you start using it. So I guess set option for once in a day and this will be the best use scenario. Also, Skydrive makes sure you can get your videos and photos make it to the cloud in high definition.

Surprisingly the app is not available for devices which have resolution less than 720P ( HD720P) or 768 (WXGA). So devices like the Lumia 720, 625, 620 and 520 will not be able to install it as of now. However since this is only a resolution thingy, the app should be updated to support them too.
