Updated Instagram App for Windows 10 Mobile with Refreshed UI & New Logo is now Available

Instagram recently buzzed the whole community with their new logo, which brings in a neon look with a pinkish tone. The same update has now rolled out for Windows 10 Mobile users also. The delay is obvious as the Instagram App on Windows 10 Mobile is a port of the iOS version(Islandwood Bridge), but we are now getting it in days, instead of months, years to vanishing point scenario.

One of the major things to notice about the app is the performance improvement. It used to be sluggish for me on the Redstone built, but now it works like a charm. However, I still see the app often crashing when I try to select a pic from the photo library. So yup, expect some app fixes in the next update. Pretty sure the old generation devices which got upgraded to Windows 10 Mobile will be facing issues, but they need to figure out the issues in a real-time scenario, so don’t lose hope. Optimizations are still expected to happen.
