Is Nokia Lumia 920 Overweight?
Nokia announced its flagship phone Lumia 920 few months back running Windows Phone 8and featuring a 1.5Ghz dual core processor, 4.5 inch screen, 8.7 MP camera and many other features. While the Lumia 920 sports the same design as the previous Lumia devices, namely the Lumia 800 and 900, the huge screen size makes the phone look big. Apart from the huge dimensions, Lumia 920 also weighs 185gms and many reviewers mentioned that the phone is overweight. So is the phone really overweight and should you not buy it just because of the weight?
We will compare it with Lumia 800 and decide on how large and heavy the device is. With a dimension of 130.3 x 70.8 x 10.7 mm, Lumia 920 is not the biggest phones out there in terms of size and also not the slimmest phone. But what makes Lumia 920 look good balance between the screen size and the thickness.

The Lumia 920 is perfect to hold in your hand and in fact you never find it overweight when you hold it. Yes, at 185gms, it is one of the heaviest phones out there, but again the size to weight ratio balances it. Below are some shots which compares it with Lumia 800. Even the Lumia 800 weighed 140 gms, so Lumia 920 with 4.5 screen and 185gms does feel heavy even though in specs its heavy.

If you still think Lumia 920 is overweight, we suggest you to have a look at the device at one of the Nokia outlets and see if it suits you i.e. Fits in your hand and you can easily reach the tiles etc. If you have a small hand, you might not like it a lot but if you have an average or large hand, this will be just fine!!
Lastly, We would suggest you not to skip buying the device, just because the device weighs 185gms and few reviews have mentioned it as overweight.
