Keep Track of your Expenses with Receipt Tracker for Windows Phone

Keeping tracking of monthly expenses in receipts is not an easy task, and you often misplace these receipts at the end of the month. But here is a simple solution from Microsoft for Windows Phone users to keep track of the receipts. Receipt Tracker is a new app from Microsoft Garage Project and is an expense tracking app that uses Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to extract information from receipt photos automatically.

Receipt Tracker allows users to categorize and visualize their expenses into organized collections of receipts which can then be emailed or sent to OneNote.

All you need to do is to open the app and use the camera to scan the receipts. The app will take care of the expenses using the OCR and then add them to the tracker.

The app is available free of cost from the Windows Phone store.
