The most popular game titles for Kinect are the Kinect Sports Season One and Two, where the later came out with a lot of improvements, but if you have missed playing them or just did not buy it because it was out of your price range, Microsoft Xbox team have come with one more idea, Kinect Sports Gems.

The team will be releasing 10 XBLA game which are parts of the actual game titles (Sports one and two) of which one will be free for a weekend, or you can buy that for a max of 240 MS Points.  The games are scheduled to come out in between a span of Nov 2012 to April 2013, each having 10 achievements to be unlocked and 50 gamer points to make.

Here are few things you should know :

• These are individual games and not a pack which means anytime you want to switch, you will need to launch it like another game.
• There is only one game that will be free every week. This means it’s a great chance for you enjoy it without spending anything.
• Again, they are parts of individual sports and not the complete sports. For example, Basketball has only 3 Point Hero and not the regular game. Same goes for Football where its only Penalty Saver.
• The best part of these games are that there are no unnecessary menus.
• Even if you are not a gold member, you can still play it.
• This is different from Kinect Sports Ultimate Collection which was best of Kinect Sports 1 and 2.
