Lava Iris Win1 Gets Update (Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1)

Lava had launched their budget smartphone and their first Windows Phone, the Iris Win1 back in December. The phone did come with pretty decent specs for the price. The phone has a 4 inch WVGA display and is powered by 1.2 Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200, Quad Core Processor and is powered by 1 GB RAM. It comes with 8 GB of internal storage that is expandable to 32 GB.

Now the device is getting its first update. In case you are using the device, you can check for the OTA update for the device.

The update is Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1, but since the phone is not a Lumia branded one, there will not be any Denim update features, but still you get few other new features including Folders, Option to enable Cortana, Files app, and so on.
