It’s pretty well known that first set of Windows 10 ARM devices will be powered by Snapdragon 835 which will lay the foundation of cellular PCs, and it was expected to come in the last quarter of this year. Looks like this is finally about to happen.
HP’s Care pack website. now has two 12 inches laptops which will be powered by Snapdragon 835. There are two variants here. One with 4GB RAM and 128GB UFS storage, while another is with 8GB RAM and 256GB UFS storage. They are powered by an octa-core processor clocked between 1.9GHz and 2.2GHz.
Apart from HP, it is expected that OEMs including Huawei, HP, Lenovo, VAIO, and Xiaomi will also launch their devices. Since holidays are around the corner in the US, you can expect the announcement pretty soon.
GizmoChina also remarks:
This device is shown in multiple listings to be running 32-bit Windows 10 S or Windows 10 Pro hinting at models for professional as well as educational categories. The device which was first benchmarked in June has appeared multiple times this month on the site.
This should probably be part of HP’s business lineup and should, therefore, come along with umleggbarem display and pen. Also, it should have UFS memory, which should make extremely high transmission rates possible, thanks to the use of the modern flash standard.
