Lenovo has released new line of Windows 10 devices extending their Yoga Line up series. Announced at San Francisco, Microsoft shared details on how they have worked together with the company to make sure some of the best productivity features like Cortana works perfectly on those machines.
First in the line up is the Yoga 900 Convertible Laptop. It has 13.3 inch QHD+ (3200 x 1800) IPS display panel churning out 300 nits brightness for sharper and crystal clear display experience. Under the hood it is powered by latest Intel’s Skylake upto 6th Generation Intel Core i7 Processor for super fast processing power, Up to 16 GB LP-DDR3L RAM for great memory speeds and Up to 512 GB Samsung SSD for faster load times, storage performance and storage space.
The audio comes from JBL Stereo Speakers with Dolby DS 1.0 which Lenovo claims to have Home Theater Certification for great listening experiences especially when you are gaming, watching movies or listening to your playlists. There are also 2 x USB Type A 3.0, 1 x USB Type C 3.0 with Video-out, 4-in-1 Card Reader (SD, MMC, SDXC, SDHC) and a Audio Combo Jack for catering connecting all your peripherals needs and high speed data transfers.
Yoga 900 also equipped with 1MP 720p HD CMOS Camera and weights start at 1.29 Kg. The dimensions of Yoga 900 are 324 x 225 x 14.9 mm and also packs 66WHr battery which Lenovo claims to provide Up to 10 hours’ battery life, going into detail you get Up to 9 hours playback with display brightness set at 200 nits with local video playback and Up to 10 hours browsing with display brightness set at 200 nits with Wi-Fi browsing which is looking quite good and promising that you will not have to stick to the charging point all the time.
Yoga 900 features four different ways of usage as per you convenience: Laptop, Stand, Tent, or Tablet. You can flip it around 360 degrees which is quite handy. Yoga 900 is available in three colors that is, Clemxentine Orange, Champagne Gold, and Platinum Silver.
Yoga 900 starts at $1,200.
Lenovo also launched YOGA Home 900 portable All-in-One desktop. Lenovo says:
Providing the full desktop computing experience – and more – the new Lenovo YOGA Home 900 challenges the notion of a typical desktop PC. Designed for portability, it breaks away from the constraints of cords and desks, reaching nearly any corner of the home.
Yoga 900 All-in-One desktop is equipped with stunning 27 inch touch screen display thus giving you table top display experience. Yes you can now play ice hockey type games! Processing power comes from up to an Intel 5th Gen Core i7 processor, though there is no Intel Skylake.
For covering all gaming needs and 3D applications needs Lenovo offers optional NVIDIA® GeForce® 940A graphics. You also get 8GB RAM and 1 TB SSD for great computing experience. The desktop is loaded with Windows 10 out of the box and Leno claims that Yoga Home 900 have 3 hour battery life.
