LINE Messenger for Windows Phone Updated with Sticker Support and Better Call Quality

LINE is a popular instant messenger app which allows users to exchange text messages, graphics, video and audio media, make free VoIP calls, and hold free audio or video conferences. LINE has a Windows Phone app for quite long time and now it has been updated with new features which includes support for stickers and also better call quality.

LINE has been extremely popular in Japan and has been picking up subscribers from countries like India as well.

Here are the new features in the update:

  • Added a Sticker Shop where users can download free stickers
  • Improved free call quality
  • The top notification can now be closed by flicking left
  • Changed to LINE notification tone
  • Bug fixes and performance improvements

Stickers are now one of the most sought after feature and recently we saw BBM also updating its app with support for stickers.
