LinkedIn to Roll out Live Video Streaming, Adds Online Status for its App
Microsoft is working hard to make LinkedIn an engaging platform than just being a resume of professionals. The company today added an Online Status for users who currently are using the app, and along with this expect the app to add video sharing capability directly using your phone’s camera.
As cited by Social Media Examiner, this feature is being rolled out in waves, and only for frequent contributors to understand if this is going to help the community. The option to upload video from the phone been there, but the option to directly record from the camera is new, and it won’t be any surprise if Live Streaming makes it way into the social network just like Twitter, and Facebook.

Apart from adding a green dot to show a particular person is online, a white dot is also included to indicate that person is available on his mobile device.
