Looks like Google is Scared of Windows Phone

Recent war has heated up between Google and Windows Phone and latest blast was denied access of Google Maps.(Which according to recent updates is getting fixed.)  You do have a work around for this, but then core issue is completely different.

Windows Phone, no matter how little it is, has innovative features both from Consumer perspective and is Enterprise ready as well. Right after, Windows Phone 8 features were announced, it not only bridged the gaps Windows Phone 7 had but also brought in string integration with Windows 8. So now all Microsoft needs to get done is bring in the top apps, bring in more low-end phones, advertise it right.

So now the real question “Is Google Scared of Windows Phone growth?”  Since most of the user base use Google Services in one way or the other, not finding a native solution in their phone can be a big turn off. As an example, I love how Android just smoothly integrates everything with the phone, giving me seamless access to Reader, Mails etc. I would have loved if Google had nice app support here but sadly that’s not the case.

Android, Google Services are now at it tops, and Google has a strong urge to get into Enterprise market where Microsoft been the kings from the long time.  Since Windows Phone is already enterprise ready, giving native apps access and bringing in strong Google Service integration will give an ultimate edge to Windows Phone.

Also for consumers this will be useful and if anybody wants to switch from Android to Windows Phone, he wont feel anything about it.

I remember How Microsoft was forced to being in the Windows N version in Europe so the dominance of IE wasn’t a case and all browser get an equal chance. So why can’t this be true ? If a service is so dominant, and useful why it cannot be forced to open for all Phones and Ecosystem ?

So, where is the exact problem ? Or there is no problem at all. It’s just that Google is a bit scared that Windows Phone is all set to breach its Android space.  Let us know your thoughts.
