Lumia 520 Available in India, Preorder on Flipkart

Looks like things have gotten better when it comes to availability of Windows Phone devices in India. One of the most anticipated phones from Nokia, the Lumia 520 which was first announced in MWC and then later launched in India, is available on pre-order.

This can be booked via Flipkart at a price of 10.5K and the availability is around 2nd week of April. The phone is available in Black, White, Cyan, Yellow and Red. I am expecting a bit of price drop when it comes to retail.

At the Nokia India Launch event, it was announced that Lumia 520 will be available since first week of April with Lumia 720 to follow in 2 weeks.

Those who seek for hardware configuration, Lumia 520 packs in an impressive 4 inch screen with IPS Capacitive touchscreen. The phone is capable of HD recording using its rear camera which packs in a 5MP camera. Even though the flash is missing, keeping in mind that it is a budget phone and therefore, a great deal.

Those who are a bit confused over Lumia 620 and Lumia 520, there are a lot of differences. I have put in my thoughts in this video as first impression. A full detailed review will roll in when I get my hands over the device.

Those who are waiting for Lumia 720 can now safely assume that the device will be available by 2nd week. Even though the price is not announced yet, I expect it be around 19K. Lumia 720 itself is an impressive device which packs in Lumia 920 like low light photography features.
