Nokia Lumia 530 Unboxing and Hands on

When Microsoft announced the Lumia 530, I was very curious to find how would a device with such low internal storage would perform. Gladly I have the device with me now and I will be able to get the answer to that and share my experience with you all.

My First Impression:

The device looks very similar to Lumia 620 as it has the same design i.e. candy phone and fits perfectly in the hand owing to its 4 inch screen size and light weight factor which is just 127 gms. It has the same build quality as you would expect in any of the Lumia device both outside and inside.

The buttons are responsive, the touch is good, the grip is decent and the rear case snaps in and out neatly. We have the single SIM version and I expect India to get a dual SIM version though. The LCD screen is FWVGA which is 854 X 480 and 246 PPI. It  has on screen buttons instead of hardware buttons, which first appeared on the Lumia 630

Out of 4 GB storage, you only get 1.22 GB after the first setup. You can expand you storage by using an SD card up to 128 GB. Windows Phone 8.1 does support the move to SD card feature for apps and should take care of the issue.

Overall a decent device at first glance but a final review can tell if its sustainable or not.
