Lumia 535 and Lumia 540 have Interchangeable Batteries

The Lumia 535 which was released last year was a highly successful model for the company and sold in good numbers. The battery on Lumia 535 is a 1900mAh one and the battery performance is pretty decent considering the specs. Recently Microsoft announced Lumia 540, the successor with slightly better specs in the form of HD display and a better 8MP camera. To power the higher specs, the company also included a 2200mAh battery.

Now we have some reports from NokiaViews, which states that the batteries on both the devices are interchangeable and works perfectly.

The site mentions that they interchanged the batteries and it worked perfectly. So if you have a Lumia 535, you can get a bigger capacity battery of Lumia 540 and get additional 300mAh capacity.
