Lumia 535 vs Win Q1000 : Which is a Better Phone ?
Xolo launched their new Windows Phone WIN Q1000 recently, check our review, and the price at which it is selling brings it head on with Lumia 535, a phone which has sold a lot, but not without controversies of touch issues that is still being fixed on many other units. Both Lumia 535 and Xolo Win Q1000 is selling at Approx Rs 7000 to Rs 7500. In this post, we take a look and help you figure out which is a better phone for its value for money.

Build, Design, Touch and Display :
Both of these phones are big, and come with great build quality. Q1000 Wins over when it comes to design, specially with those extended bezel on top and bottom of the front part of the phone. It also comes with hardware capacitive buttons compared to soft buttons of the Lumia 535.
While Lumia 535 is 5 inch IPS LCD screen with qHD resolution i.e 960 X 540 and pixel density of 220 PPI, Win Q1000 is 5 inch IPS LD 720P screen built using One Glass technology. The later definitely looks better than the qHD when to comes to gaming and playing quality movies.
When it comes to touch, people have different experiences to what we have received as Feedback. Lumia 535 is still being haunted by touch issues, but it is better than what it was during the time of release. Q1000 has none of these problem.

Battery Life
Lumai 535 comes with battery of 1905 mAh which lasts for 15 to 20 hours ( low to heavy usage), while Win Q1000 comes with 2200 mAh battery which lasts 28 hours on regular usage and 16 hours on heavy usage.
Its close, and hence I will call it a Tie, but Xolo still has bit of edge.
General Performance including Gaming
Be it gaming, or general usage, both the phones will not disappoint you anywhere. Best part is that they don’t have any heating issues when GPS Applications like Maps, Games, etc are used. Both of these phones are powered by Snapdragon 200 Quadcore Processor, 1GB of RAM with 8 GB internal storage.

Multimedia Experience:
Win Q1000 delivers better experience because of 720P display. Even though not 100%, still the phone will be able to play 720P video easily compared to Lumia 535 which is just a qHD screen. You should pickup apps like Moli Player and VLC Beta to play your videos.
When it comes to music, the audio is pretty loud on both the phones. Lumia 535 gets an edge here because it has the Equalisers and Dolby Support compared to Win Q1000 which has only virtual surround support that can only be used with headphones.

Camera
Lumia 535 comes with a front camera is a 5 MP, f/2.4, auto Focus camera which does an extremely decent job in taking pictures. You can use the Lumia Camera which gives you full control on the settings part and captures images in 16:9 aspect ratio. There is an LED flash which is strong enough for low light conditions. The video recording is in FWVGA which is 848 X 480 in resolution.
Compared to this Xolo Win Q1000 houses a 8 MP rear camera which can take picture in 3264 × 2448, and record video in FWVGA (848 X 480). The picture quality is decent, and its good for day light photography and macros. However the Xolo claimed PureCel Sonsor technology isn’t something ground breaking. The camera has auto focus, tap to focus, the camera is the missing option to Zoom
I would blame Xolo Camera performance to Microsoft for not getting a Lumia camera till now. It would have been better result with that.
