Lumia 625 Review : Performance & Battery Life on 3G and WIFI ( Day 5 -6 )
When we a buy a phone we always would want to know how the overall performance and the battery life goes hand in hand. It’s the 6th day of review and I am happy to share that the Lumia 625 is doing well. The apps run smoothly and battery lasts for almost 12 hours if not more. I did compare it with Lumia 820 and 920 and there is a difference when you launch apps and load games but when it comes with Lumia 720 or any similar device, the performance should be equal.

Phone Performance :
Lumia 625 runs a 1.2 GHz processor but with only 512 MB RAM and with the biggest screen in the Lumia series. The screen is made of IPS LCD with Corning’s Gorilla Glass 2 making sure the screen is smooth and strong at the same time.
That said, After using the phone heavily for last 6 days, I found the performance pretty satisfactory. The biggest test was done with gaming and it absolutely did not lag anywhere during the game play or even when switching between the apps while the game was in background. I have used apps like Whats App, Twitter, Facebook, Email and high-end games which didn’t give me hiccups except when the battery went low.
Most of the apps will run on the phone and the ones which aren’t running now will be optimized. The same happened with Asphalt 7 Heat which was initially launched for 1GB devices but it now runs on low-end phones smoothly.
Battery Performance:
Lumia 625 not only houses a quality Build and Gorilla Glass 2 for long-term durability, it also empowered with 2000 mAh battery pack which unfortunately cannot be taken off for those users who love to pull out battery but good thing is that it lasts for a complete day on 3G and 20 hrs when used in mix with 3G and WiFi. Here are my daily usage stats which can help you judge.
