Lumia 625 Review : Gaming Performance : Day Two & Giveaway ( Nokia Coloud POP)
So I am back with Day 2 review of Lumia 625 and this time I chose Gaming. Lumia 625 has a beautiful, vibrant and the biggest screen (4.7 inch) of all Lumias, which makes it perfect as a gaming device and we have a great news (Along with a give away announcement at the end or somewhere in the middle)
Lumia 625 is a perfect for gaming. Not only because the screen is bigger but it performs really well without suffering from heating issues.
Games chosen for performance test :
We picked up Asphalt 7 heat which is optimized for low end Windows Phone housing 512 MB of RAM and Drift Mania 2 which is the first game using the popular gaming engine — Unity. While Asphalt 7 Heat hits on graphics big time with its complex graphics, Drift Mania 2 gives you idea of control and how the game performs.

Video Review:
Like always check out the game in action and judge it on your own. I have talked about my experience in it and don’t forget to ask your questions in this.
How was the gaming experience on Lumia 625 ?
The Good Part: This phone bearing only 512 MB RAM, I wasn’t expecting much before starting the test. Though the other Lumias– 520, 620 and 720– did well with gaming but 625 was flawless. The colors look vibrant and screen being big means less stress on your eyes. And since it’s not heavy as Lumia 920 (I know it’s wrong to compare but I had to say because I use one), you won’t get tired.

The speakers did well while gaming. The sound was clear and you can hear the car noise, engines revving up and tires screeching on the turns. However make sure you don’t block the speakers with your hand which is bound to happen. One time I thought the speakers aren’t loud when I moved by hand away, it was loud and clear.
The best part is that unlike the 920 and 520, there aren’t any heating issues at all, which means that you won’t be distracted by hot temperatures even if you plan to play for long.
The Bad: It’s a great gaming device but it is limited by many factors. The first and the foremost is the space. Lumia 625 comes with only 8GB of memory space and any high end game you plan to install will need a minimum of 2GB of space free. On tops, chances are you will never have more than one high end game installed on your phone.
The second problem is the brightness. You will see a lot of reflections in sunlight or bright lights. I had this problem when recording the game place and it was a real pain.
Conclusion:
If you can keep off the space crunch and reflection aside, Lumia 625 is a perfect mobile for gamers. NO heating issues, no performance loss. So if you planning to buy this one and gaming was one of the factors, add a tick to your list.
