We have been receiving a lot of comments on when the Lumia 640 and Lumia 640 XL will come to market, and now we can confidently say that the announcement is real close. As spotted by our good friend and a brilliant writer, Nimish Dubey, the posters are now live on the Nokia’s Retail Outlet, yup the name change hasn’t really happened here. Microsoft will target this towards power users who want office on the go!

I am expecting it be announced around 2nd week of April which it would be an awesome timing keeping in mind, the device was announced only last month at MWC 2015. Microsoft has also marked them as “Coming Soon” on their website.

Lumia 640 XL houses a 5.7 inch HD screen with resolution of 720p. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, clocked at 1.2GHz, the phone comes with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal storage. It also houses a 13MP front camera capable of shooting video at and a front camera of 5MP for video calls. It has a battery of 3000mAh which makes sure you get enough power to last for a day, but of course the real scenario will after a detailed review. The Lumia 640 XL will be available for 189 Euros for 3G version and 219 Euros for the 4G variant. It comes with one year of free office 365 subscription, plus 1TB of onedrive storage.

It was also spotted that Microsoft has imported a good number of Lumia 640 and Lumia 640 Xl in India, which adds up to the weight of a close announcement.
