Lumia 650 Expected to be Available in India by March End
Lumia 650, the second budget Windows 10 Mobile which comes in all glory of metal, and targeted for business users is expected to be available in India by March end. This comes officially from Microsoft India Twitter handle in response to a tweet. Lumia 650 had been delayed a lot in India, and even though with full metal body, it is not expected to sell a lot keeping in mind the price tag and specification.
Lumia 650 global pricing is Euro 159 which converts to Rs 11,900. I expect Lumia 650 to be priced around Rs 13000 at the minimum. Here are the important specs of the phone.
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 212
- 5-inch display with 720p display which supports glance screen.
- 2000 mAh battery
- 8MP camera with LED flash
- 16GB storage/expandable to 200GB via microSD
We will be coming up with detailed review of the phone when it arrives here, and will talk about its performance which is in doubt for its Snapdragon 212 processor.
I am speculating that Microsoft India will play low on this phone as well, just like the Lumia 550 which did not do well in the market, but that could change for its shiny metal feel.
Lumia 650 comes pre-loaded with Windows 10 Mobile which recently went official as Microsoft sent out upgrade for most of the Windows Phone 8.1 phones.
