All Lumia Phones to get Upgrade to Windows 10

The Official Twitter handle for all Lumia have shared an exciting update for all of us. All the Lumia Phones running Windows Phone 8 will get upgrade to Windows 10. This update gives a huge relief to users that their devices are not going to left stranded, a story which happened during Windows Phone 7.X to Windows Pone 8 transition.

Interesting to note that the next update has been mentioned as Windows 10, the up coming Windows version which is also going to be one platform for all devices from Microsoft. Microsoft has been talking about its One Platform for all Devices strategy from sometimes, and its finally taking shapes.

This also puts me into a doubt to what will happen to the NON LUMIA Devices. IMO Microsoft can cut over the OEM to deliver updates for sure, but talking about only Lumia Phone creates confusion. I have asked more on this to @Lumia

Windows Phone Update check

Microsoft will also release new Windows (Phone) 10 devices in future, which we expect will be during MWC 2015. We are expecting at least one Flagship device along with 2 feature phones to be released during that period.
