MapQuest for Windows Phone is now Available

MapQuest is one of the earliest and one of the best web-based mapping services, which provides accurate maps, directions and lets you discover places on the way to your destination. Not only that, but it also shows real-time traffic conditions and then and then finds you voice-guided driving routes. Something very similar to what Here Drive does.

The good news is that today they have released their first Windows Phone app, which is free and works on  Windows Phone 8 devices. For some reason, it seems country-restricted as I am unable to download for Indian Region for now.

Overall the features are very close to what Here Maps and Here Drive have to offer, but this is a completely different mapping service. We are interested to know how exactly it works when it comes to offline usage. So any of you who download and try it, let us know in the comments.
