Max Quiz is basically a game in which you, as a player, will be attending a Quiz Show. This Quiz show has 5 different categories, like Movies and TV, Sports, Geek fun, General Knowledge, and Science. All these categories have some simple and some difficult questions.
Talking about the game, it lets you compete with thousands of people across the globe. You can also make a new team, join your friend’s team, or join a team via some code. You can also check out weekly ranking by visiting the Rankings section of the app.
It also features a Question database, where you can Suggest a question, Review community questions, translate, etc., which is something I really liked.
Good Bits:
The app is entertaining and can never get boring. There are thousands and thousands of questions, which very rarely seem to get repeated. I have played the game for some time now, but the questions were rarely repeated.
The Profile section of the app lets you Send and Receive messages, Friends lets check out your friend’s list, Friend request lets you accept or reject a person’s friend request, you can edit your profile by adding your DOB, changing your password in Edit Profile.
It offers great customizability for your avatar/ character. You can choose your character’s hairstyle, eyebrows, dress, etc., or you can also upload your own picture (which is gonna make you look like Sin Chan). The game has three modes. After selecting one of the categories, for example, say, Sports, and click Play, you will have three choices, either to practice, enter the championship, or challenge your friend on Facebook. Apart from all this, the best part is that your host in the game does Gangnam Style and some random dance moves. He is not just a little animated guy in the game who does nothing. Rather he is helpful. He reads out the questions aloud. If you’re stuck somewhere in the game, you can also use a lifeline called Cards, which will eliminate up to 3 wrong alternatives. Being a Quiz game is not boring at all.
Bad bits:
It’s a very buggy app. Launch it for the first time. It refuses to open. The second time you open it, it crashes when you clicked on Play. Sometimes the loading screen also takes forever. The graphics get sluggish most of the time. It really needs a big performance improvement update. It often crashes, mostly when you click on Upload my picture. The game by far is perfect and doesn’t lack any feature, but bugs can be irritating at times.
Personal Opinion:
Even though it’s buggy, it has perfect gameplay. After playing it for around a week, I can definitely say that it’s a very addictive game. Few crashes and bugs will never stop you from opening the game and playing it. It’s a game, not an app, so you yourself will have to try it out. But one thing I can guarantee is that you’re not gonna get bored!
