Micromax Launches W092 and W121, CanvasWIN Series for Windows Phone
Finally, one of the recently announced hardware partner of Microsoft, Micromax has launched two DUAL SIM Windows Phone, one in lower segment while the other gets into lower-mid segment. It was long rumored and all the buzz and media invites with Microsoft logo made it pretty obvious.
They have named their Windows Phone series as CanvasWIN which is aimed towards Gaming, Music and Videos as posted on their teaser.
CanvasWin W092 :
This affordable Windows Phone houses a 4 inch display and powered by Snapdragon 200quad core processor. Micromax made sure to put in 1 GB RAM with 1500 mAh Battery. It also houses 5 megapixel rear camera (with LED flash), a 0.3 megapixel front-facing camera, and 8GB internal storage. The phone is priced at 6.5K which competes with Lumia 520 and 525 which are selling between 6 to 8 K right now.

CanvasWin W121:
Its a low mid range phone priced at Rs 9500 and competes with recently launched Lumia 630 which is now selling at this price at retail. The phone has very similar hardware configuration with Canvas Win W092 except that its bigger with 5 inch HD IPS screen. The phone includes 8 GB internal storage, 8 MP Rear Camera and 2 MP Front facing camera. Those interested to make sure the phone lasts for a day, W121 includes 2000 mAh battery pack.
It also includes most of the sensors including proximity, gravity, and light sensors, an accelerometer, Dual-SIM capability, and comes with a leather finish back panel.
Starting in July 2014, the Canvas Win W121 and Canvas Win W092 will be available in retailers across India for at Rs. 9,500/- and Rs. 6,500/- respectively.
