Microsoft today announced new version of Surface and a brand new product, Surface Book, extending their Surface Brand portfolio. Not only Microsoft claims that it is better than Surface Pro 3, it also takes on Macbook Air by 40% when it comes to performance.
Surface Pro 4
Let’s first start with the upgrade of Surface Pro 3. Microsoft gone two-step ahead this time with most powerful surface yet! Powered by Windows 10 with amazing Windows hello integration. It is almost whooping 30% faster than Surface pro 3! Along with it Surface Pro is almost 50% faster than Apple’s Macbook Air.

The Surface Pro 4 comes with 12.3” inch display with 5 million pixels powered by new technology called PixelSense for clear brighter true colour HD display experience and to add strength it also have 0.4 mm thick Gorilla Glass Green. The resolution is 3000×2000, TPM chip for enterprise security. It houses a 5 MP front camera and 8 MP rear camera with 1080p hd video recording stereo microphones.

Surface Pen -:
Microsoft introduced surface pen with back eraser just like a pencil! The pen comes with different colors to choose from like red blue, silver. The pen have all year battery life with 1024 levels of pressure handwriting. Microsoft innovatively solved the storage problem of pen by making it enable to magnetically attach at the side of Surface Pro 4. Like on surface pro 3 clicking the pen will fire up onenote, you can also wake up Cortana and other function like on Surface Pro 3.
The handwriting flow is very natural on Surface Pro 4 and you can also change the pen tips for different usage of pen and to get real like pen experience.
New Type Cover-:
Microsoft along with the Surface Pro 4 and book launched the next generation of Scissor designed type cover with precision glass trackpad which is almost 40% larger than previous generation type cover and have 1.3 mm key travel and 19mm key distance with backlight enabled keys and Finger Print scanner.
It is worth noting that this cover with finger print scanner is compatible with Surface Pro 3.
Surface Book:
Microsoft first time entered into Laptop segment under surface brand. This is the most powerful laptop created by Microsoft. Surface book is almost 2x faster than Mackbook Pro! The Surface book is powered by latest generation Intel i7 processor with Nvidia Geforce GDDR 5 Discrete GPU with upto 16 GB Ram for complex computing at an amazing speeds and upto 512 GB SSD to store your personal content.
The device have 13.5” detachable display with 267 ppi with PixelSense technology and gorilla glass 4. The device also have 12 hour battery life. There is also precision glass trackpad with 2 x 3.0 USB and full-sized SD card support and is weights around 1.6 pounds and is 7.7 mm thick.
