We already reported about the rumors of Xbox S. Moments ago at E3 2016, Microsoft announced the new Xbox – The Xbox S. Xbox One S is 40% smaller than the current Xbox One. As expected, Microsoft has increased the size of the hard drive, taking it to 2TB. Xbox S will be supporting 4K resolution for video playback. Microsoft has also updated the controller for the Xbox One S, now it offers streamlined experience – better grip, improved connectivity like addition of Bluetooth. Also, this controller will work with any Windows PC. The new Xbox One S also comes with Xbox Play anywhere feature- giving you seamless experience between your Windows 10 PC and Xbox One. And all your game progress and achievements will be shared across the platforms. Gears of War 4, Forza Horizon 3 will be one of the first games for the new Xbox One S.

Xbox One S will require a separate Kinect USB adapter as the dedicated port has been removed. While the adapter costs $50 if you plan to buy it, but for those who already have an Xbox One and get it if they upgrade.

Pre-orders for the Xbox One S will be live sometime very soon. However, it will be available starting from August. Microsoft will sell a special edition that includes a 2TB hard drive for $399, while the 1TB variant for $349, and 500GB version for $299.
