Remember Microsoft’s WP7 event to be held in New York today? Well, MS has revealed more information about the event. The company will be celebrating the launch of its six-new WP7.5 powered handsets and promoting Windows Phone Mango, by constructing a six-story Windows Phone smack in Herald Square, New York.
The ‘Big’ Windows Phone will feature up to 8 hours of live performances, and will also have Live tiles, one of the strengths of WP7, which will be very much alive with information. The company is also celebrating in New York with performance from Far East Movement a band which melds hip-hop, pop, electro and more.
The Redmond based company even gave free a Windows Phone Mango powered phone, the Focus S, to all the backstage attendees at their event in New York!
The Samsung Focus S and Focus Flash will be hitting the AT&T retail stores beginning from today, and they will be complementing the Radar 4G, which launched last week. The big-daddy of all these WP7.5 phones though, the HTC Titan, will hit the AT&T’s network sometime soon.
