Microsoft Confirms 669,000 Apps in the Store (Mobile + Desktop)

The Windows store is now an unified one with the store supporting both Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile apps. Windows 10 was released by Microsoft back in July and the final version of Windows 10 Mobile is expected to announce in October.

Windows apps store has been there for quite some time now and while there are lots of new and useful apps, they are still catching up with iOS and Android. Today, Microsoft has revealed that the store has 669,000 apps available and this includes both desktop and phone.

This was mentioned in the Microsoft by Numbers website. It also says that 75million devices are running Windows 10 as of now.

Rudy Hyun’s apps have been downloaded 16 million times making him one of the most prolific developers. His apps include 6tag and also Wikipedia app.
