Microsoft Edge Browser on Windows 10 Mobile

Windows 10 Mobile is all slated for final release later this year and Microsoft has been working on the preview build for phones for quite some time now. The latest update was rolled out couple of days back and the current version is at 10149. This new build does come with some new features and improved UI.

One of the changes is the inclusion of Microsoft Edge browser which was previously known as Spartan. The new build has the Edge browser and we take a look at the browser. Here are some of the screenshots of the Edge browser on Windows 10 for phones.

The address bar is at the bottom along with tab management, reading mode and the options. clicking the three dots brings in the menu to add to favorites, reading list, find on page, settings and also ability to Pin a web page to start menu. There is a hub option included in the menu and this is for accessing favorites, reading list, history and downloads. They are neatly arranged and accessing these options are pretty easy.

Going to the settings, you have the default options to view mobile or desktop version, clear cache and also reading style preferences. As of now there is no option to switch between light and dark theme like the desktop version.

Overall, the browser seems to be improving with the preview build, but we did encounter some crashes.
