Microsoft is being sued by “HoloTouch”for infringing its Holographic imaging patents.
Patents, and companies getting sued for it. It’s a common thing that happens now, and companies make a lot of money out of it. Microsoft impressive hardware tech, HoloLens, is on target now. The Redmond giant is being sued by a Connecticut-based firm, HoloTouch, which claims that Microsoft was ignorant about their patents. These patents were already granted to the company in 2002, and 2015.
HoloTouch also claims that they approached Microsoft, but both the companies failed to sign an agreement. What is even more surprising is that HoloTouch approached Microsoft in 2006, but the idea was rejected.

HoloLens is being used in Business right now, and they have expanded to many other countries, and HoloToch has got their patients right in countries like Australia, Canada, Japan, and the UK as well. It’s going to be a tough time for Microsoft, as they have advanced their tech into Windows 10 Mixed Reality, and there is no turning back.
We won’t be surprised if Microsoft ends up paying a big chunk of cash or sign a deal with HoloTouch in future.
