Microsoft Lumia 535 Unboxing

Last month, Microsoft had made official the new mid range device Lumia 535. This will be the first Windows Phone under the Lumia series with a Microsoft branding after taking over from Nokia. Lumia 535 comes with Single and Dual SIM version, supporting 3G and preloaded with Windows Phone 8.1 and Lumia Denim Update. The device features a 5-inch display with a qHD resolution, 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor, and 1GB RAM with 8 GB of internal memory and microSD support for upto 128GB.

Lumia 535 comes with WIDE ANGLE 5-megapixel front-facing camera, just like the Lumia 730 and Lumia 735. This makes it a perfect selfie phone in low end segment. This also makes sure, you have a better Skype Experience as well. Here is the unboxing of the device along with first impressions.

We picked the bright green variant of the device and unlike Lumia 730, all the colors come in glossy finish and there is no matte variant for Lumia 535. Further the Cyan and Grey colors are not available in India. Design wise the device looks very similar to Lumia 525 with curved finish.

The rear panel is removable and the 1905 mAh battery along with dual SIM cards and micro SD card slots available here. The device has power and volume buttons on the right side. The 3.5mm audio jack sits on the top while the micro USB charging slot is at the bottom.

The rear panel has the 5MP camera with LED flash and the Microsoft branding which is first on a Windows Phone. The speaker is located at the bottom of the rear panel.

The front panel has a 5 inch qHD display which has an IPS technology and has on screen buttons like the Lumia 730 which are minimizable. The display looks pretty good, but lacks sharpness as it is a qHD resolution on a 5 inch display. The touch response looked pretty decent.

Overall, the device looks pretty good with great build quality. We will have detailed review coming up soon, so stay tuned.
