Microsoft likely to Launch the Lumia 630 on 12th May

Looks like the long wait might be over for those who waited for the Dual SIM Lumia. We have received an invite for Media Event which holds a Microsoft Logo instead of Nokia and says

If you don’t want to get lost even without Network

Come Join us at the Oberoi on 12th May 2014 at 11:45 PM

While this doesn’t point to anything with 630 but to what I have seen from invites received by others who shared it, it seems All the invites are different. Some have received invites having word “The Power of Two” in it, while others have received invites saying “Love Multi tasking but hate hangups?”

What really seems to be case is that its going to the first Official Microsoft Invite for devices in India, after the acquisition, and they want to be sure that people know about it and all the features that this Windows Phone will be coming with.

Microsoft and Nokia did held a media meet before they merge and we did get to see the Lumia 630 and lot of features of Windows Phone 8.1 which wasn’t launched during the period.

Those who haven’t, do take a look at our hands on with the 630, do check it out here. One of my favorite feature of the 630 is–SIM manager–which is smart enough to figure out which SIM you use often to make a call to a particular number or contact. Next time you make a call, it will have it ready

While we have no idea on the pricing my blind guess would be between 12 to 14K, if they announce the price.
