Microsoft might Announce Xbox One SLIM during E3 2016

When Microsoft announced Xbox One, a lot of verdict did say that it was heavy both in terms of weight, and size. After all Xbox 360 was much slimmer, but then it was a second version of the original Xbox which itself was pretty bulky.

If you been waiting for a slimmer version of Xbox One, rumour mill is hot about it. According to a recent leak from internal production document posted to Neogaf (via ShackNews), there is a mention of  “Xbox One II” (rough translation) is in the works. Here are few more things that adds to the weight:

  • Project began in March 2014.
  • Entered mass production in February of this year with a capacity of 400,000 units per week.
  • Weigh is at 600-800 grams — or 1.3 to 1.8 pounds which seems to be really wrong because current generation os of 7 pond, but who knows it could be weight of a part.

Microsoft recently filed for a new model of the same earlier this week in Brazil with Anatel which is equivalent to FCC where any company needs to register for their hardware, and other related things.

All of these things sends out string signals that Microsoft is up to something. It could be a slimmer version of Xbox One, could be an upgrade…..and whatever it is, E3 should see some sort of announcement. Are you excited or do you think its too early?
