Microsoft “Might Be” Experimenting with Transparency Levels in Live Tiles

While Microsoft is experimenting with lot of stuff  in Windows 10 for Phones, here is an interesting one, which you may see it in the next roll out of Windows Phone 10 Technical Preview.  While Live tile transparency has been supported for a while, if you wished to control the level of transparency for each tile, there is an option coming through for that.

Windows 10 Transparency Level Tiles

Joe Belfiore, Microsoft VP promised that Windows 10 for Phones will include both full background, and an option to control transparency in tiles. The next preview of phone is due in April for which Microsoft just announced a lot more Lumias and claimed to be working on Non-Lumia phones.

Te above screenshot is using an emulator where all three transparencies are demonstrated i.e.  highly transparent live tiles, semi-transparent live tiles and tiles where the wallpaper. Many users have sent out feedback suggesting that mid-level of transparency hides a lot of background picture.

All that said, I am still doubtful of these screenshot because the battery icons don’t look legit, and they aren’t taken all the the same time. This could be nothing.
