Microsoft Remote Desktop app for macOS now offers macOS keyboard shortcuts

Microsoft has released a new update for the Remote Desktop App for MacOS which not only bring a major UI change, it now allows you to use keyboard shortcuts from Mac including cut, copy, and paste in a remote session. Here is the list of changes now available for the Remote Desktop.

  • You can now use the MacOS keyboard shortcuts to cut, copy, and paste in a remote session.
  • UI improvements include assigning desktop connections to custom groups, easily identify active connections in the connection center., you can manage a single list of user accounts in the preferences of the app, and also store multiple entries of the same username with different passwords.

If you are using a MacBook, and need to access  your Windows 10 Machine which is out of your reach, it’s going to be extremely effective with the recent update, especially with the support of MacOS keyboard shortcuts
