Microsoft Rolling out 4G LTE Support for Lumia Devices in India

Microsoft has been releasing almost all Lumia devices in India and none of them have 4G LTE support in India although the hardware running many of them including the flagship ones like Lumia 1520 and Lumia 930 have support for 4G LTE.

Now the company is releasing an update for Indian variant which will enable support for 4G in India. 4G is being rolled out in India in phases and Microsoft wants users to take advantage of this. If you have recently received an update on your Lumia, you can now get 4G on your device. Go to Settings-> Mobile+ SIM and you can enable 4G from here.

Here is a quick video on how to enable 4G LTE on your device, provided you have 4G SIM card.

The devices which have 4G LTE support after the update are:

  • Lumia 1520
  • Lumia 1320
  • Lumia 1020
  • Lumia 930
  • Lumia 925
