Now that Windows 10 Mobile is released, Microsoft is taking their next step by showcasing new features at Build 2016. According to a session listed for Build 2016 by Matt Hidinger, Lei Xu. There are two things that will be shown.
Action Center Features:
Notifications are an essential tool for engaging with your customers on Windows. We are building on the foundation of Action Center to give developers greatly increased flexibility in Adaptive Toasts. We will introduce a powerful API that enables a new class of apps to plug into the Notification pipeline and offer innovative experiences for users.
Live Tiles are evolving with two highly requested surprises that you won’t want to miss. This should be available for both Windows 10 Mobile and PC, but will take time to appear in the public domain. Insiders should get to test it first.
One feature we expect Microsoft to really show off in skin is Interactive tiles. This feature will let you interact with the pinned tiles to do more. As an example Facebook tile can let you post new status message from there, or check on new notifications. Below is an old concept video from Microsoft which gives you an idea. Remember it is still a concept video, and nothing else.
