Microsoft StaffHub brings Easy Schedule Management in Team for Desk-Free Workers
Aimed towards Desk Free workers, Microsoft has rolled out a new cloud based service–StaffHub–which allows team members, managers to manage their schedule, take time off, reschedule easily. Managers can also approve requests, share information on the team right from their phone. Using this service Microsoft aims to increase the productivity of those who don’t have access to PC all the time, but play an important role communicating with customers.

The biggest catch however is that each deskless worker and manager using Microsoft StaffHub must have an Office 365 account.
Features:
- Managers can easily select and share files with their workers.
- Quickly create, update and manage shift schedules for their team members
- Send quick messages to each other by tapping a coworker’s contact icon and typing a note.
- Swap a shift or offer their shift to someone else in case of conflicts. Requests are always routed to a manager for approval, and updates are automatically pushed out to the involved team members.
- The home screen provides a summary of upcoming shifts as well as any important notes for the day.
Microsoft StaffHub is currently available in public preview on the web, iOS and Android. During the public preview, Microsoft StaffHub is available in the following languages: Chinese-Simplified, English (U.S.), Spanish, Russian, Japanese, French, Brazilian-Portuguese, German, Korean, Italian, Chinese-Traditional, Dutch, Turkish, English (U.K.).
The said part is there is no app for Windows 10 PC or Mobile as of now, and Microsoft did not put any information on if the app will be actually released for their own OS. While there is no excuse, lets see if Microsoft actually thinks about it when it comes out of the preview.
